Questions

  • Do I need to make an appointment?

    We do not require an appointment for getting measured for your event.  BUT appointments are always welcome!

  • How far in advance should I rent my tuxedo?

    The minimum time required is 7 days (for an individual) and 14 days (for groups) before the event is scheduled.  A $15 "rush" fee will be applied to the following: individual orders that are placed less than 2 days before the event, and group orders that are placed less than 4 days before the event. For a wedding we recommend that you book your wedding party and select the tuxedo styles at least one month before the wedding date.

  • What if I'm going on a cruise or an extended honeymoon or vacation? How do I return my tuxedos?

    We offer one and two week rentals.  Please contact Mr. Tux for more information. Please call 1-435-656-4616.

  • What if I change my mind or have to cancel my order?

    If you need to make a style change to your order or cancel your order prior to the event date, there will be a $15 per person fee added to each reservation, if they are already completed. However, if you need to make a style change or cancel your order before we begin to put your orders together, there will be no fee to cancel.  In the case of a wedding party cancellation, if there was a deposit accepted, it will be forfeited.

  • When may I pick up my tuxedo?

    The tuxedo will be ready two business days prior to the event date. Once they are ready, an e-mail or text confirmation will be sent to you. You will pay for your rental and take it home to try on.  If there is an adjustment needed, we have pleanty of time to do so.  RUSH fees are added to any order that is needed one or less day's away.

  • When does the tuxedo need to be returned?

    Your rental is due back the Monday following your event, by 5pm. A $30 late fee will be charged for each day the tuxedo is not returned after the return date.

  • Is a deposit required

    For an individual rental we do not require a deposit to book your order. For weddings and other group rentals, we may require a minimum deposit, if you are requesting special orders.

  • When do I pay for the tuxedo?

    Mr. Tux does not require your to put any money down to reserve the tuxedo, and the balance is due upon pick-up.

  • Can I measure myself?

    We recommend that you do not measure yourself. Either have someone else measure you or come in to have professional measurements taken free of charge inside our store.  Mr. Tux can not be held responsible for improper measurements, and will result in an additional "RUSH" fee of $15!

  • Why should I rent shoes?

    In the case of an individual renting, you would not need to rent shoes, however we would recommend that groups rent them, for a uniform look!  Do you really want to leave it to chance that everyone in the wedding party will have the appropriate shoes to wear with their tuxedo? Make sure your wedding photos turn out perfectly by having every man in the wedding party wear matching shoes.

  • Special Orders

    When ordering from our Special Orders catalog, you will be required to pre-pay for the rental.  Refunds are NOT an option for this type of rental, because we are charged regaurdless of use or not.  There are NO acceptions, for color, style cancelation or fit.

  • What Style of Tuxedo's do you offer?

    Our extensive tuxedo collection, is the traditional fit.  Slim Fit, may be ordered in for your event!
